Delivered in partnership with YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo and Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship (WLU), the innovative program is funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade & Employment.

Waterloo – Lutherwood announced today that its successful Targeted Initiatives for Older Workers (TIOW) program has received renewed funding. TIOW – a joint federal-provincial initiative – provides unemployed workers aged 55 to 64 with support finding employment. Eligible participants receive skills upgrading, financial support for training and associated costs, and placements with local employers.

WATERLOO - Today, Lutherwood is hosting 35 children’s mental health leaders from across Canada at its Children’s Mental Health Centre in Waterloo. The group is engaging in the organization’s first national conference - BrainLinks Canada. The symposium-style gathering will explore recent advances in adolescent brain development and mental health research, and look for ways to translate advances such as these into mental health practice across Canada.
