Waterloo, September 30, 2011 — RBC today announced that Lutherwood is one of 108 organizations from across the country to receive an RBC Children’s Mental Health Grant. Lutherwood will receive $20,000 to help expand their Children’s Mental Health Centre to accommodate specialized treatment programs. RBC’s donation is part of a larger $1.5 million commitment to Children’s Mental Health programs across Ontario South West.

September 9, 2011 - Lutherwood staff will try their hand at restaurant work (bussing tables, assisting the hostess, kitchen clean up, table service, greeting guests) to earn a donation from Terry Voulcaridis of Country Boy Restaurant. Terry has offered to donate all the proceeds of his sales to Lutherwood’s children’s mental health programs. Our goal is to fill all 267 seats and raise between $3,000 and $4,000.
