On September 9th (FASD Awareness Day), award winning author Linda Rosenbaum, who wrote, “Not Exactly As Planned” will be in Waterloo Region to talk about her experience adopting son, Michael, and her struggle to get a diagnosis and find appropriate services. Linda highlights the need to do things differently with respect to FASD in Ontario including prevention, diagnosis, intervention and support.

Waterloo – Lutherwood’s Annual Steps for Kids raised a record $110,000 to support children with mental health issues in our community. More than 650 people walked, jogged and ran the three or five kilometer routes on a beautiful, warm Sunday morning.
