Transit Study

Lutherwood is taking registrations for a Region of Waterloo research study on affordable transit.

The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the importance of affordable transit, to evaluate the effects of different reduced fare transit passes, and to give opportunity for people to access a reduced fare pass.  People who are selected for the study could get:

Off-Peak Pass: $23 per month
20-Ride Pass: $25 per month
Combo Pass:  $48 per month
Unlimited Pass: $65 per month

You can register by dropping in to The Working Centre (58 Queen Street South Kitchener) or Lutherwood’s Cambridge Employment and Housing Services (35 Dickson Street, Cambridge) with proof of eligibility, or you can sign up to attend Information/Registration sessions through Eventbrite links that can be found on the GRT website.

Check the eligibility on the GRT website and be sure to bring proof of eligibility when you come in to register.

Please see the GRT webpage for more information/details.

We are contacting all of the people on the TRIP wait list, but you don't have to be on this list to participate in the study.

Transit Study Poster
"I like the idea of 'collective impact.' Instead of individual organizations each working towards our own impact, Lutherwood brought us together with other mental health service providers to pool resources and ideas for a national impact."
