The Ministry of Education is hosting a one-day regional Experience Ontario conference on Thursday, October 5th at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre.

This conference is for grade 12 students on track to graduating in June 2018 or recent high school graduates who are trying to figure out their next steps.

Topics of this one-day conference include:

  • personal growth and development after high school
  • career and postsecondary exploration (PSE)
  • financial planning for postsecondary education (PSE)
  • goal setting for the future

At the conference, youth will also learn about the Experience Ontario Program, which is offered at Lutherwood’s Kitchener and Cambridge Employment Services locations.

Experience Ontario provides a combination of career exploration experiences, career coaching and supports to explore postsecondary education and apprenticeship training (PSE) opportunities. As a result of this program, you will develop a postsecondary and career plan to support your next steps.

If you are interested for registering for the Experience Ontario Conference and/or the Experience Ontario Program, please contact:

"I love the connection and equality I feel within Lutherwood. Supporting the First Nation, Métis, and Inuit peoples in Waterloo Region has brought meaning to my life. I can offer cultural teachings and walk alongside participants through various periods of their lives. Above all, Lutherwood has given me a sense of belonging."
