Volunteer Tim Zuch Helps Troubled Teens; The Record

Entering the workforce can be difficult for young people. For Haleigh, a recent high school graduate with no prior work experience, the future seemed uncertain. Like many others in her shoes, she faced the daunting question: Where do I even begin?

We are continually inspired by the dedication and generosity of our community. A touching example comes from two first-year students at Conestoga College, Bella and Kali, whose mutual passion for helping others has made a positive difference for the youth at Safe Haven Youth Services.

With the recent changes in the economy and housing prices, it is no surprise to learn that homelessness is unfortunately a growing problem in Ontario. Earlier this month, a report was released with current data and projections on the "Homelessness Crisis".
