Your Impact in 2024
Transforming Children's Mental Health
As the demand for services increase we’ve introduced new program options and expanded others thanks to the generosity of our Starling community.
In 2024, we expanded our day camp for kids in our day treatment program giving them the opportunity to practice their coping skills throughout the summer. Safe Haven Youth Services increased their Life Launch capacity by an additional 66% allowing even more youth access to launch successfully independent living. Starling’s Child and Parent Place program space in Cambridge was renovated to provide a welcoming space for families to come together.

Connections with New and Old Friends
We made many new friends this year at the Trillium West Classic, Stoidi Gala, Vinny Vinelli comedy shows and the Debbie Ellis water colour painting event and reconnected with friends at the Luther Village on the Park ice cream social, Westmount Oktoberfest Pro-Am, Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament and Price Health Train the Trainer. Thank you everyone who attended and sponsored these events in support our children’s mental health programs and Safe Haven Youth Shelter at Starling. And the highlight of the year was coming together for Steps for Kids, where more than 470 participants joined us in raising both funds and awareness for children’s mental health.
