“With our strengthening local economy, there are employers in Guelph that are hiring,” said Aaron Stauch, Program Manager, Employment Services. “Our job fair will give job seekers an opportunity to find out what jobs are available, meet employers who are actually hiring and learn about free employment services that can help them with their search.”

Local employers planning to attend include: City of Guelph, Launch, Goodwill, Agricorp, University of Guelph, ServiceMaster, FaithLife Financial, TeleGo, Tim Horton’s, Linamar, Oilfield Job Connectors.

Media are invited to attend to interview job seekers, employers and Lutherwood’s employment experts.

"Immigrants can have issues with languages, workplace cultures, and a lack of a network of people. Starling listened to me and offered great advice. Local employers should consider hiring recent immigrants as we have so much to offer and are looking for a chance to prove ourselves."
